The Normandale Creative Writing Club officially releases the Spring 2024 Paper Lantern on Friday, May 3. You can click on the Paper Lantern website to view this year’s and past editions.
The Paper Lantern is a student literary journal that publishes original creative writing by current students of Normandale Community College. Opinions expressed therein are not those of the college administration, faculty, student body, or the Creative Writing Club.
It is made possible by the Normandale Humanities Department and the Normandale Student Life Activity fee. The Paper Lantern online is made possible by a generous gift from the Kevin Downey estate.
The cover design was done by Saff Drayton, Sara Huderle and Cody Boller. The front cover art is “Glacier Lake” by Chloe Galasi and the back cover is Valleys, Pastures” by Ren Taylor.
The faculty advisors are Normandale instructors Thomas Maltman and Steve Woodward.
